Our Story
About us
O’Grady Studio is the creative practice of Ali O’Grady, centred on his original abstract works that explore expression, emotion and the energy of human experience. Working primarily in acrylic, O’Grady creates layered, instinctive pieces that use colour, texture and movement to reflect both the beauty and complexity that surround everyday life.
At the heart of the studio is a belief that art should do more than simply decorate a wall. Each piece is created to bring feeling into a space, whether that is warmth, optimism, energy, calm or reflection. Through expressive mark making and intuitive composition, O’Grady’s work seeks to brighten environments while also connecting with something deeper and more human: the mess, joy, tension, hope and spontaneity that shape how we live and feel.
The O’Grady Studio approach is rooted in accessibility as much as expression. These are works designed to feel alive, personal and emotionally open, inviting viewers not only to see colour and form, but to experience a sense of connection, individuality and creative freedom within their own surroundings.
